Why Create Aquatical?
My grandfather had an amazing 20 gallon tank with the most amazing tropical fish. I’d never seen anything else like it anywhere. I loved going to visit to say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Fins, Stripey Joe, and Blue Bill (as named by me, not him – give me a break, I was a kid!).
I cherish those moments of just sitting with my pop pop, watching the fish do their thing. It was so calming. Thinking back, he was a quiet guy, but this was our connection.
When I got my first place, I always put aside a little bit of cash. Knowing I’d get a tank of my own one day. That day came and went, and maybe I went a little overboard with it…
Well I’ve scaled down these days, and maybe one day I’ll get the nerve to post my own setup. Until then, at least I can share the hobby with fellow enthusiasts and share what I’ve learned caring for almost a hundred fish over the years.
